Speaker Bio Information: 

1. Landi Simon

Is a certified Master Beekeeper, is an active member of the New Jersey Beekeepers Association.  she is past president of the Essex County Beekeepers Society, past Director of the Eastern Apiculture Society (EAS) Master Beekeepers, and served as Chairman of the Certification Committee for the EAS Master Beekeepers for many years.

 

 2. Bob Binnie 

Began commercial beekeeping in 1981 in Oregon and has been involved in Commercial beekeeping in 10 states.  He is widely known and respected for the numerous videos he has produced on all aspects of beekeeping.

 

 

3. Frank Licata

 

Is an EAS Certified Master Beekeeper.  He served for several years as Operations Manager at the Mann Lake Beekeeping Supply company’s Wilkes-Barre, PA location .   He is a graduate of Lock Haven University and has been keeping bees since 2002.  Frank owns and operates about 100 hives and produces his own labeled brand of honey, lotions and soaps. He teaches beekeeping classes in Pennsylvania and gives beekeeping seminars nationally at universities, conferences and bee clubs.
